Freedom.Science follows the general NEDION Press Copyright and Licensing Policy.
Authors normally retain copyright in their work.
By publishing with Freedom.Science, authors grant the journal and NEDION Press the right to publish, distribute, identify, archive and preserve the accepted or final published version.
Licence
Open-access scholarly articles are normally published under a Creative Commons licence.
The preferred licence is:
Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence, CC BY 4.0.
This licence allows others to share and adapt the work, provided appropriate credit is given to the authors and source.
Third-Party Material
Authors are responsible for ensuring that third-party material can legally be used in their submission.
Third-party material may include figures, tables, photographs, diagrams, datasets, maps, screenshots, standards excerpts or other copyrighted content.
Where permission is required, authors must obtain permission before publication.
Branding
Publication under an open licence does not grant permission to misuse NEDION Press branding, Freedom.Science branding, logos or trademarks.
Use of journal or publisher branding requires permission unless clearly allowed.
